Community Activities
▹Staying Connected to Your Community
Being part of your community matters. At SWIS, we support you to get out, stay connected, and take part in the things you enjoy, in a way that works for you. Whether that’s catching up with friends, exploring new places, or building confidence in everyday activities.
Our community access supports are flexible, practical, and built around you, so you can get the most out of your day-to-day life.
The support you need, when you need it!
▹Individual Support
We offer one to one support that is all about building skills, confidence, and independence in a way that works for you. We support you to do things yourself, with the right level of help when you need it.
Whether it’s getting out in the community, appointments, or everyday tasks, we work alongside you to build confidence and make things easier over time.
▹Group Programs
Group activities are a great way for you to meet new people and try something different without pressure. We keep things relaxed and flexible, supporting you to build confidence and independence at your own pace.
It’s about building your capacity, with the right support around you. There’s always something happening, and you can choose what feels right for you.
▹School Holiday Programs
We offer school holiday programs that give kids the chance to get out, try different activities, and stay engaged during the break.
It’s a good way to meet others, build confidence, and pick up new skills in a relaxed and supportive environment, with heaps of fun activities to choose from across the holidays. We keep things flexible, so kids can take part in what feels right for them.
“The school holiday programs are amazing...my daughter loves going and she loves all of the support workers”
